Susan Dunkelman

No one is quite sure how she does it, but Susan has the uncanny ability to creatively conceptualize amazing meetings and events-and then plan and execute them to near perfection. Clients love tapping her imagination… and often say that Susan “makes work fun.”

Prior to forming The Charles Group, Susan served as Director of Conferences for the Risk Management Society (RIMS), an association of over 4,000 member corporations, and was responsible for managing the RIMS Annual Conference of approximately 12,000 participants from the United States insurance industry as well directing similar activities for RIMS in Europe and Asia. She has served on numerous committees and panels in the industry and lectured on meeting planning at New York University.

Carol Davis-Grossman

Don’t let the energetic, bubbly personality fool you. Carol is seriously buttoned up. With a Master’s Degree and years of expertise in strategic planning, financial management, organization and implementation, Carol earns accolades from clients for dedication that goes way beyond the call of duty. She’s the oil in The Charles Group machine, keeping things running smoothly, on time and on budget.

Before joining The Charles Group, Carol was Executive Director of the American Medical Women’s Association, which represents the nation’s female physicians. She’s also a member of the American Society of Association Executives.

Sarah Bondar

Behind every successful event is a person who doesn’t miss a detail. With more than 17 years of experience, Sarah brings a keen eye to every project that she works on. She joined The Charles Group in 2013, and now serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing business and staffing operations as well as managing key corporate and not-for-profit client accounts.

After graduating from the prestigious UK Center for Events Management at Leeds Metropolitan University with a bachelor’s degree in events management, Sarah worked her way through various roles in freelance and hotel event services positions before landing at an international event agency specializing in pharmaceutical & healthcare meeting management where she gained extensive experience in managing key global accounts within the healthcare industry, including the US office’s largest pharmaceutical client at that time.

Sarah is design focused and loves creating beautiful, memorable award winning events. She also has a passion for health and safety, ensuring all events are planned with a focus on risk mitigation and a safety first approach. Sarah is a certified Covid Compliance Officer (C19CO).

Sarah is originally from the UK, but immigrated to the US in 2008 and now calls New Jersey home.
